About Prolean Wellness
Prolean Wellness LLC was founded on the principal that every BODY is different. We all have our own unique physical and chemical makeup and the professionals at Prolean Wellness understand that those differences should be addressed when attempting to lose weight and improve health. It doesn’t make sense to put a petite woman and a burly man on a one size fits all diet plan. Different bodies require different amounts of protein to support muscle mass and they require changes in recommended foods based on what is happening with their metabolism. Prolean Wellness gives you the opportunity to work with professionals who have years of training and experience in helping INDIVIDUALS to improve metabolism and to maintain lean body mass while helping each person find out how different foods may affect them. With these tools we are able to offer a SAFE, but RAPID weight loss.
Jeff and Celeste Dana are a husband and wife team who both struggled with weight and have found that knowledge about how their bodies work is the key to maintaining weight loss. They started Prolean Wellness with the desire to help others make the same changes they’ve made. The years spent in seeing people make those changes has been rewarding and they love the relationships they form with clients day in and day out as they see bodies and overall outlooks change drastically.
The Prolean Wellness team also includes a Naturopathic Medical Doctor and a certified Holistic Nutritionist. We are dedicated to providing medical weight loss services to patients desiring a healthy, effective weight loss and management program as well as the advantages of medical assistance. Our weight loss program consists of a three-phase approach guided by our professionals. A nutritionally sound and balanced dietary program is the backbone of the educational process used to guide patients to a healthier lifestyle. The program does not rely on prepackaged foods or liquid diets laden with additives, but rather on healthy foods from the grocery store.
In addition to our successful weight loss programs, Prolean Wellness also offers solutions for people who suffer with the effects of hormone imbalances. Our medical professionals are trained to analyze extensive blood work and saliva tests and see where bio-identical hormone replacement would benefit a particular client. When hormones are in balance people on this program find renewed strength, energy and vitality. We also offer a line of aesthetic services performed by our trained professionals.

“When I was six years old, I was asked if I knew why I was here. I took the question to mean if I knew why I was born. My response was “yes….to be a healer.” As the years passed, I was very certain I would become a medical doctor. Until college. I attended Franklin & Marshall College on scholarship in the pre-med program… and hated it. It was a very difficult time. I never imagined any future for myself other than becoming a doctor but how could I do something for the rest of my life that I hated? That’s when I went to a close friend of the family for her guidance. It was she who introduced me to the word, “naturopathy.” I went to my school library for any information. There was very little to be found at the time. Eventually, I visited Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine for an interview. That was it. I was inspired again. I had the peace of mind of knowing where to put my focus and energy. Naturopathic medicine fits me. It has common sense, science, humanity, tradition, creativity, efficiency, strength and respect for the whole person. Naturopathy shows the way for people for become the best version of themselves, at least physically. It can re-introduce individuals to their bodies and enable an independence from prescription medications. I’ve had my license to practice since 2000 and I feel so lucky and proud to be able to offer this service to people. It’s wonderful.” -Melenie Dunn, NMD

“I strongly advocate the dynamics of Prolean Wellness’ program because it is based off factors that are going to be key to losing and maintaining healthy weight loss–and not just a “quick fix”. Prolean Wellness is unique for that we emphasize losing body fat, without compensating lean muscle tissue. My focus at Prolean is to customize programs that are suitable for individual needs, and giving my patients the proper tools and education to sustain long-term health and weight loss. Although the nutrition field is ever-changing, I enjoy studying new dietetic research and base my practice primarily on studies published in medical journals with sound evidence. I am truly passionate about assisting others in their weight loss, health, and fitness goals. I am motivated everyday by seeing the change that I have helped others achieve for themselves and can’t wait to help you transform your life!” –Meghan Doherty
