About Prolean Wellness

Prolean Wellness LLC was founded on the principal that all bodies are different. Each person has a unique physical and chemical composition, and the professionals at Prolean Wellness understand that those differences must be addressed to improve health and promote weight loss. We know that success and lasting results don’t come from one-size-fits-all diet plans, which is why we tailor our programs to each client specifically. By following our recommended diet and exercise plan based on your body composition and muscular requirements, we promise you will finally see the results you’ve worked to achieve. Our staff at Prolean Wellness are professionals with years of training and experience in helping individuals improve their metabolism, maintain lean body mass, and discover how different foods impact their overall health. With these tools, we can confidently ensure safe, rapid, and lasting weight loss.

The Prolean team also includes a naturopathic medical doctor and a certified holistic nutritionist. Our program is guided and assisted by trained medical professionals to ensure healthy weight loss for our clients. We advocate a three-phase approach, with a nutritionally sound and balanced diet as the core of a healthy lifestyle. The program does not rely on prepackaged foods or liquid diets laden with additives, but on simple food from the grocery store and the knowledge of what your body needs to thrive. Learn more.

In addition to successful weight loss programs, Prolean Wellness offers solutions for people suffering from the effects of hormone imbalances or dermatological deficiencies. Our staff is trained to analyze extensive blood work and saliva tests to determine where bio-identical hormone replacement might benefit a client. With their hormones properly regulated, people on this program find renewed strength, energy, and vitality. We also offer a line of aesthetic services to rejuvenate skin, eliminate wrinkles, and give you back your “glow.” Learn more.

Meet the Owners

Jeff and Celeste | Prolean WellnessAfter struggling with their weight for years, Jeff and Celeste Dana discovered that the key to maintaining healthy active lifestyles lies not in fad diets or over-the-top exercise routines, but in knowledge about how bodies work best. The years spent supporting people as they make those changes have been rewarding, and Jeff and Celeste love the relationships formed as clients and staff become friends.

Melenie-Dunn-26f339b1Meet our Naturopathic Physician

Dr. Melenie Dunn has been in practice as a naturopathic medical doctor since 2000.  She attended Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA on scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in English, also completing a pre-med course.  She earned her doctorate degree from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, AZ in 1999 and has been attending to patients with all varieties of issues ever since.  Dr. Dunn tends to use dietary changes, supplements, bio-identical hormones, botanical medicines, intravenous therapies and intramuscular injections as the main modalities to help her patients achieve their best health.  Other modalities used include acupuncture, lymphatic therapy and counseling to assist with addressing the cause of illness and imbalance.  Dr. Dunn aims to help her patients to reach their health goals with as greatest efficiency and minimal discomfort as possible.

“When I was six years old, I was asked if I knew why I was here. I took the question to mean if I knew why I was born. My response was “yes….to be a healer.” As the years passed, I was very certain I would become a medical doctor. Until college. I attended Franklin & Marshall College on scholarship in the pre-med program… and hated it. It was a very difficult time. I never imagined any future for myself other than becoming a doctor but how could I do something for the rest of my life that I hated? That’s when I went to a close friend of the family for her guidance. It was she who introduced me to the word, “naturopathy.” I went to my school library for any information. There was very little to be found at the time. Eventually, I visited Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine for an interview. That was it. I was inspired again. I had the peace of mind of knowing where to put my focus and energy. Naturopathic medicine fits me. It has common sense, science, humanity, tradition, creativity, efficiency, strength and respect for the whole person. Naturopathy shows the way for people for become the best version of themselves, at least physically. It can re-introduce individuals to their bodies and enable an independence from prescription medications. I’ve had my license to practice since 2000 and I feel so lucky and proud to be able to offer this service to people. It’s wonderful.” -Melenie Dunn, NMD

“I strongly advocate the dynamics of Prolean Wellness’ program because it is based off factors that are going to be key to losing and maintaining healthy weight loss–and not just a “quick fix”. Prolean Wellness is unique for that we emphasize losing body fat, without compensating lean muscle tissue. My focus at Prolean is to customize programs that are suitable for individual needs, and giving my patients the proper tools and education to sustain long-term health and weight loss. Although the nutrition field is ever-changing, I enjoy studying new dietetic research and base my practice primarily on studies published in medical journals with sound evidence. I am truly passionate about assisting others in their weight loss, health, and fitness goals. I am motivated everyday by seeing the change that I have helped others achieve for themselves and can’t wait to help you transform your life!” –Meghan Doherty
