PB&J Protein Mug Cake


  • 1scoop protein powder, chocolate peanut butter Isonatural
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp. creamy all natural peanut butter (phase 2)
  • ¼ cup almond milk or cashew milk, unsweetened
  • 1 dropper stevia (optional)
  • 1 tbsp. of mashed blueberries (fruit permitted)
  • 1 tbsp. flaxseed (phase 2 optional)


  1. Combine protein powder, baking powder, and flax (optional for PHASE 2) in your mug. Stir with a fork until well-combined.
  2. PHASE 2: Add in peanut butter, almond milk, and stevia.
  3. Stir until smooth batter is formed.
  4. Place in the microwave for 1 minute. If not yet cooked, continue cooking in 15-second increments until a fork/toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Top with mashed blueberries if you would like.
