When taking Vitamin D at normal doses, there usually are no side effects. However, too much Vitamin D can cause your calcium levels to become too high. Therefore, you should consult your doctor if you experience constipation, nausea, vomiting, increased thirst, loss of appetite, increased urination, unusual tiredness or mental/mood changes after you start taking Vitamin D supplements.
